Our History

Elite Escrow Services of San Diego, formerly named Clairemont Mesa Escrow, was formed in 1971 by Frank and Dora Beck. While working for the Beck’s, current owners Karen M. Viens and Genia Engelstad purchased the company from the Beck's in 1987. They then merged with Dawson Escrow, and the business was renamed Elite Escrow Services of San Diego.
In 2009, Elite Escrow opened a second location in Point Loma, the Elite-Liberty Station office.
As the company continued to grow, Elite opened a third office location in 2013 on Coronado Island.
Elite Escrow currently has three offices (Kearny Mesa, Point Loma, and Coronado) and proudly serves the greater San Diego area and throughout California.
In August 2021, Elite Escrow proudly celebrated 50 years of providing escrow services as a locally owned and operated company. Read more about this milestone here…
